Week 21!

This week marked the halfway point of the school year!

In math we've been practicing measuring crooked paths and finding totals.

In science we learned about and experimented with levers!

In reading we've been working on reading fluency (rate, expression, attention to punctuation).   On Seesaw each child has posted the first of a series of clips of him/herself reading aloud to document improvement in fluency over time.  When your child is reading to you, encourage him/her to read with 'a smooth and lively' voice!

Students have been sharing their persuasive letters with each other and also sending them out into the world!  You are encouraged to write a response to your child's letter for him/her to share here at school.  And remember, 'yes' doesn't always have to be the answer!
