We have been working on our fact fluency in math. Students are using number strategies and relationships to help them get the answers to math facts in a snap!
On Thursday Bob and Eric from YCS visited our classroom and taught us all about animal tracks and the habits of animals in the winter months.
In writers workshop we've started persuasive letter writing! If your child writes you a letter, I encourage you to write a response (even if your answer isn't yes!). Even better, send the response back in your child's folder! Students love to share their response letters. Doing so helps students understand the power of letter writing!
