On Monday we finished up our word detective unit with one final mission. Students had to solve tricky word clues to reveal a secret message. The message brought us out into the hallway where a special package full of magnifying glasses was waiting!
As part of our science unit on the solar system, we traveled to the USM planetarium this week to learn more!
We also shared our holiday traditions! Students noticed that many of the traditions around the winter holidays focus on light, family, food, and music.
We've been doing LOTS of measuring in math!
In writers workshop students have been using a checklist to revise and improve their non-fiction texts.
