The Snowy Owls have been doing a wonderful job coaching their K buddies through the reading process! Their word solving skills really shine during reading buddy time each week!
In writers workshop students have been hard at work writing informational texts. This week we worked on turning our ordinary pictures into teaching pictures by adding text features.
In Science we've started studying the sun as an introduction to our place in space. This learning will set the stage for our unit on the Winter Solstice.
Mrs. Elder led us in our annual singing of Mrs. Turkey Bird at our November community meeting!
Holiday Tradition sheets are due by next Friday 12/7!
