Week Eight!

In math we've been learning lots of ways to solve change-to-more and change-to-less number stories.  Students made owl trees and have been creating and solving lots of interesting owl-focused math problems!

We read with our kindergarten buddies on Wednesday!  

On Thursday seventh graders visited us at Rowe!  Together we planted bulbs for a tulip rainbow garden, made origami tulips, and read books together!

Next week students will start bringing home just right books to read as 'homework'.  Keep an eye out in home/school folders for a sheet of 'hard word' strategies to use with your child while reading!
